error while installing npower online help plugin for Max9

Hi,
I am working with Max9 64bit and installed the npower-plugin R530
without problems and it worked for weeks. Now I want to add the online help by modifying the installation by starting the .exe.
The installation stops with the message:
error: could not create the help shortcut

I de-installed all and tryed the installation including the online help, but also this doesn't work and stopped with the same error-message.
