Long time no post, have been franticly modeling with Powernurbs though!
I got a bit more time at the moment so I once again try to learn a bit more surface modeling and use less solid modeling.
I got a question about the blend tool in the 6,05 release. I might be missing something and the only way I can explain it is a bit fuzzy:
Symptoms:
Double sided blend shows only 1 surface of the 3. (Split = on)
(any) Blend can sometimes suddenly be trimmed after increasing the synchronisation spinner above any value but 0.
If I draw 2 scketchlines and add a blend between them: no problems. If I change the blend to a double sided blend: Only 1 part out of 3 is visible. After checking "Fade to normal blend" I do get to see the entire blend, even with 2 splits into it. (If I recall correctly it should only show 1 split if I fade to normal blend.)
Solutions found by me: None! :P but....:
Tinkering with the UV trimming might suddenly give back all the 3 surfaces of the blend, but the UV trimming handles will vanish right after that. I never encountered this before in previous releases. I have only tested it on 1 64bit Vista machine with 3DS 2009 64bit installed.
Thanks a lot for looking into this! :)
p.s. Power Fillet is 10 times more stable then it was before! Love it!
