Just wondering if anyone has exported a powernurbs (esp. Powersweep) object into Zbrush (3.1) for fine detailing. I have a two sided object that is symmetrical and uses the same sketch. I try exporting as .obj, but when I subdivide in zbrush, the seams pull apart - I'm not sure how you would go about welding seams or vertices on a powernurbs object or am I missing something on the export process? I don't think it would make a difference if it was a mesh or a poly - right???

Thanks for any input.

Actually, it does make a difference (between Mesh and Poly). You want to use the Editable Mesh (instead of Poly). Also, before you convert to Editable Mesh, click on the "Weld and Smooth" option for the Power NURBS object. Then you should be able to convert to the Mesh and export it just fine.
