fillets

how the hell do you use them ?
look so easy in tutorials but when dealing my own models it never works :(

Can someone explain why it sometime works and why it can't work ?

They should usually work. There are a few things to avoid.

1) Don't try to make fillets where the radius is larger than the edge (in other words the adjoining edges would be consumed).

2) Also, if the radius is too large so that it would consume some other edge, that will cause problems

3) When applying overlapping fillets of various sizes, start with the largest fillets, and go down to the smallest fillets

If you find cases that fail, send us an example and we'll fix it.

i'll post the model that has trouble with fillets and even better some screen captures so you can see how i made my model but will need some time to do that ;)
