pwr_sketch attach problem

hello everyone. i have this problem (don't think its a bug) when i Attach a line to pwr_scketch, after disselection, verticies become visible as these big crosshairs (see attachment). i've just started learning power nurbs and went through all tutorials. and still couldn't figure out what those big crosses mean.
it wouldn't be a nuisance if i didn't have problems with railSwiping after that. which seems to be related to those crosses...

I think he means the Max file. The JPG file is attached, but they can't really diagnose bugs in a screenshot.

I do have this problem, too. With Max 2009 64 bit and the newest powernurbs! Is there a solution?
