The hardest part of this one is to build the ****.
The top part is just a revolution unioned to the ****
with some fillets. The **** probably is best built
with one or more rail sweeps with possibly a blend to
fill in the rounded corner.

1) Trace the top and bottom curve. Probably extend the
top a little so that it comes out even with the bottom
one.

2) Place two or three cross sections along the rails with
the same shape as the cross section. You can probably make
those with the Power Rectangle with filleted corners and
use the NURBS option so you can bend the top and bottom up
and down a little.

3) You should have a planar end at the start and beginning
corresponding to the start and end cross sections or profiles.
You can extract and split the curve on the end and just blend
between between them. Use the strength of the blend to match
the shape of the end closely.

4) Cap the other end with a planar primitive.

5) Grab all 3 surfaces and make a solid using a Join

6) Use curves and the Power Detailer to make the inset area.

7) You can use Power Trim to cut the hole on the end.

8) Create the end with a revolution or two and union to the
****.

9) Fillet the intersections.

If you need more help than this, you can talk to Eric and
he can take you through some of the tools you need to build
it.

dear sir,

i have followed your advice and did this thing :

http://img340.imageshack.us/img340/8602/model1rf6.jpg

now what to do next to cap up the nose the model ? am bit confused as to use rail sweep further again or to use blend,

and also have one more problem as you can see from the model a central seam is seen on the top of the model how to eliminate it.

kindly help me out.

thanks in advance
and once again i thank you for your kind cooperation.

Use the Pwr_CmpSkth to extract a composite sketch from the end of the surface (make sure you pick the surface edge not the original curves). Then you should be able to split the composite
sketch in the middle using the sketch tools in Edge selection
mode. Click "Split" button and then pick a point near the
middle of the curve.

I would then recommend going into "Isolate" mode so you pick
only the composite sketch. Pick the Pwr_Blend tool and pick each half. You should get something that looks like this
405

You can then adjust the "Tangent Strength" to get the desired shape as I have done here: 406

If you are unable to get the shape the way you like, try making the rail sweep come closer to the end of the shape so that the blend will not have to be as large.

Looking at your model, there may be an easier solution.
If your 3 rails end at the same point, try creating a
single sweep through all 3 profiles (insead of the 2 you
have now) and click "Sweep To Ends of Rails". This may
allow you to sweep down to a single point and close off the
shape. I am not exactly sure what it will look like on
the end but it might be worth a try.
