power sketch line x key

i have a problem when i try to follow the phone tutorial, after a few try, i realize that when i use power sketch with global mirror and line x key as the first point (just like in phone tutorial), max always crash or sometimes i get the macroscript error everytime i try to extrude it (using power extrude)
i don't have this problem when i use control point c-key as the first point

I just tested it in Max 2009 and it seems to be working fine there. What version of Max are you running. What version software are you running?
