Yes, there is a bug in the 5.0 version. We are fixing it with a 5.1 patch (soon to be released).

The links look correct, but the error messages look like you tried to install the 64 bit version into the 32 bit Max. What is the name of the installer file that you used?

I'm sure you will have spotted this but the download file sizes are reported wrong - presumably the 64bit and 32bit versions switched.
Going to try and install 32bit version
Cheers
Andrew.

We're working on it. We'll probably get an update out by tomorrow.

It looks like David and the nPower team have posted the new customer files.
NOTE: It will install 2 sets of plugins by default. The files (BrepObject.dlo and BrepObjectBonus1.dlo) in the plugins directory will need to be manually deleted to avoid the plugin errors. Make sure your plugin.ini points to the plugins/PowerSolids folder for the working 32bit 2009 files.

The new installers put things down a subdirectory (plugins/PowerSolids). The plug-ins in the top level
directory are basically empty without any objects in
them. We do this for backward compatability to make
sure that if you had an older version, the new install
will work without duplicat ID's. As long as those files
are really small in the "plugin" directory, you don't
need to delete them. If you start getting duplicate
ID's then you may need to delete them.

Leaving those plugins will give you the same, this plugin is not made for this version of Max error. Each time you load max.

Ok, the new (as of last night) installer removes the second set of plugins in the plugins folder. This should work for those who were having issues with the 2009 5.10 installer, atleast it is working here.
