Hello community, hello N-Power-Team,

some strange effects have occured, and as very often, I do not know, if it is a bug, sensibility of p-nurbs, my fault or a lack of memory of my computer...

I have worked on this gear-shift. When I try to join them all together, the folds of the knob staighten and loose their casual gum-like look.

This happens, when I join the upper object (the knob) and the lower object (the stick) together.

So could anybody please try it out and tell me, if he or she could reproduce this mistake?

Am I doing something wrong? Is it a matter of computer memory?

Kind regards
Arnim

Hello, it's me again...

the attachement did not follow. So here it is (I hope).

Kind regards
Arnim

PS: The attachement does not seem to follow. And I don't know why.

Here is the link, to download the model, which makes trouble

(click on the file-name "translation_troubles_(powerjoin).zip")

I promise, that it isn't an infected file. I am desperate. I hope you can help me :-)

The big problem I see is pretty much none of the surfaces actually line up. You have multiple overlapping surfaces or edges that don't match between surfaces. So it is having to adjust the edges to in an attempt sew them together. You need to rebuild your surfaces to insure that the edges align, and surfaces don't overlap.

Edit: You can try adjust the Blend/Rail Sweep Synchronizations to see if it will get the surfaces to align.
