pwr_join tool

Could someone explain me what are these new options (since power nurbs 6.2 version) in the powr_join tool:

object type: **** Utility; **** Object; Join Bodies; **** Cutter

I noticed since 6.2 version (3dsmax 2010 64bits) pwr_join tool convert most of the time my power nurbs modeling to polygone without i decided it.

Is it normal ?

i will try with 6.1 version to see if polygone convertion is stoped with pwr_join tool...

Thanks,

Rudo_fr.

i tried with 6.1 version who is intalled on other workstation and everything run normally.

So i decided to uninstal 6.2 version on other workstation (where i begun my new project) and install 6.1. But now 3dsmax give me an error message when 3dsmax start.
(DLL c:\program files\autodesk\3dsmax2010\stdplugs\****_object.dlo failed to initialize error code 126 brepobject.dlo error code 127 etc...

So i re-installed 6.2 version but i have same problem: powernurbs convert my powernurbs model to polygone when i use pwr_join tool....

Ok i found the problem:

I uninstalled 6.2 version, uninstalled connection_extension_3dsmax.exe(an service pack to import for exemple SketchUp .skp project) and reinstalled 6.2 version.
Now that run normally and options in pwr_join tool disapear.....
So be care with this extension.

Pwr_Join

Hi Rudolph,

Those are the options that we added for the new Bdy Object in 3ds Max 2011.

There will also be a new Power Bdy Object Toolkit product from us that will provide some basic utilities for using a subset of our tools on Bdy Objects. Plus for you, with Power NURBS Pro, all of your Power NURBS tools will work on the Bdy Objects.
