cooperate with sculpting program
Hi.,
my question sounds.., how can i prepare nPowerNurbs object to sculpting program works such as Mudbox or Zbrush? I tested to convert a object to editPoly and then i open this model in mudbox but meshflow wasnt cool. |

Hi Johny,
Mudbox and ZBrush use a dense quad mesh. I'm not sure if our quad mesh generator is still hooked up for Power NURBS. If it is, you want to turn on Quad mesh tessellation. We are actually working on an improved Quad mesh generator. That will ultimately provide a very good solution for outputting to Mudbox and ZBrush.

You really need to produce something that works like this. Or work with that developer to get him the Maxscript access he needs to produce the same for B.ody and Power Objects.
I talked with Gary about something like that years ago. We need something that works off the IsoParams to generate the mesh that can smartly handle trim sections. -Eric |
