Power Net Distributed Translation


	Power Net provides Power Translator Pro users with the ability to distribute computational intensive data translation jobs over a local area network.

If you have just a couple of satellite machines in your office or a 500 CPU render farm, Power Net can help you improve your productivity. Do you have one or two files and want to translate in the background of your current machine and/or leverage satellite machines around the office? Do you have a few hundred or even a few thousand CAD data files to bring into 3DS Max? Power Net may be the solution you have been looking for to get the job done fast.


	Power Net provides an intuitive interface that allows users to select multiple files; change various translation settings on a file by file basis; and specify a network directory to store the results. Because Power NET leverages Autodesk's Backburner technology, the existing Backburner tools can be used to set up the Job and monitor the progress of the translation.
