Display Curve Curvature: Displays
a set of lines representing the curvature of the surface. The length
of the lines is inversely proportional to the radius of curvature.
Type: Choose the type of curve display (Iso Curve -
curvature along iso-curves as specified in the viewport display settings,
Natural - natural surface curvature, Min - minimum surface curvature, Max
- maximum surface curvature)
Scale: Define the radius of curvature for
the selected arc
Density: Determines the curve display density
Display Surface Curvature: Displays
a colored mesh representing various curvature properties of the mesh.
This will show areas of high curvature or inflection and may indicate that
the surface needs further adjustment or redesign.
Type: Choose the surface analysis display type (Gaussian
- product of principle curvatures , Mean = mean of principle curvatures, Min =
minimum principle curvature, Max = maximum principle curvature)
Std Dev. Multiples: Used to control the mapping of the colors onto
Use Min/Max Range: Turn this option on to show a colored
display showing the range of values across the surface.
Min: The maximum value range (surface areas where
curvature exceeds this maximum value will display in red). Note, to
use Min/Max ranges, make sure to check the "Use Min/Max Range"
Max: The maximum value range (surface areas where
curvature exceeds this maximum value will display in red).
